Saskatchewan health officials reported 77 new cases of COVID-19 and one more death on Thursday.
This new case number is just below the new seven-day average of 79.
This brings the known number of active cases in the province to 902, the lowest value since November 5th.
The new confirmed death was a person in his 70s from the Central East region. It is the 553rd death in Saskatchewan from COVID.
Saskatchewan received an additional 16,787 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 845,439.
Two thirds of people aged 12 and over in the province have now received their first dose.
