A Toronto District School Board teacher is facing multiple charges related to child pornography, police said Friday.
Sean Done, 32, is a high school teacher at the Central Toronto Academy in the Palmerston-Little Italy neighborhood, according to a police press release.
He was arrested on May 27 after the police issued a search warrant following an investigation into “uploading large amounts of child sexual abuse material on the Internet”.
Done was charged with:
- 2 cases of child pornography possession.
- 2 cases of access to child pornography.
- 1 Number of times child pornography was made available.
Police said they were concerned about his contact with students at the school, particularly online.
Anyone with information related to the investigation is asked to contact the Toronto Police Department or leave an anonymous tip about Crime Stoppers.
Reports can also be made via the national tipline for reporting sexual exploitation of children on the Internet.
