ENOC appoints Ennero to distribute its marine oils worldwide

ENOC Group has appointed Ennero, the leading distributor of oils and fuels in South Africa, to expand the group’s international presence in the marine lubricants sector.

Ennero will distribute a wide range of Enoc marine oils exclusively to all South African ports, including Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Richards Bay, as well as Walvis Bay in Namibia, and other international marine markets, a statement from the company said.

Approximately 40 million liters of marine lubricants are traded in South Africa annually. Through this exclusive agreement with Ennero, Enoc aims to increase sales of its marine lubricant portfolio to strengthen its international presence in new seaports to serve international customers in new markets.

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, CEO of ENOC Group, said: “We have continuously worked towards expanding our local and international presence. Our agreement with Ennero is a testament to our competencies and the quality of our products and services. We aspire to be a valuable and reliable partner of choice for our stakeholders in the marine industry. We are confident that our partnership will elevate our lubricant business across international markets.”

South Africa’s ports and terminals are major contributors to the country’s economic growth due to its strategic location on one of the busiest international sea routes – and essential for international shipping. This represents an opportunity for South Africa to invest in a diversified maritime market.

Enoc Group supplies lubricants to a wide range of offshore vessels such as offshore supply boats, container liners, tankers, Navy and Coast Guard vessels, through a transportation network that includes road tankers and pipelines. It also offers a variety of lubricants and greases designed for applications in the industrial and marine sectors, as well as heavy duty diesel engines and commercial use.

Enoc has a presence in 60 countries across the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, the CIS and the Indian Subcontinent.
