Expressing his feelings while joining the family of a brave soldier, the COAS reiterated the Army’s strong commitment to defeat Pakistan’s enemies.
The commander prayed for the dead spirit and offered Fateha. He also said that there is nothing more important than giving our lives in order to protect the country.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa said the nation as a whole is proud of the complete commitment made by our national heroes.
Earlier this month, two employees of Frontier Constabulary (FC) including a young captain were killed during Operation Area Sanitization in Zewa, Kurram District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
According to a report by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation began on the alleged terrorists.

In a major fire exchange, it also claimed that three terrorists were killed during the incident.
The victims were Captain Basit, 25, of Haripur, and Sepoy Hazrat Bilal, 22, of Orakzai.
COAS Ends First Eid Day with Soldiers near Pak-Afghan Border
General Qamar Javed Bajwa spent the first day of Eid Al Adha with the troops stationed near the Pak-Afghan international border in the Kurram District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
As they interacted with the military and shared Eid greetings, COAS praised their commitment and resilience in defending their country, ISPR said in a statement.
He also mentioned satisfaction with the preparation of the design and effective methods of border security.
The commander commended the Pakistani border patrol system and reiterated the Pak Army’s commitment to ensure security at our borders in the face of impending difficulties.
“We are always ready to protect Pakistan from any threat and no matter what,” COAS said.
General Bajwa also commended the continued support of government agencies in the ongoing economic development work in the area including the development of infrastructure, schools, hospitals and other community rehabilitation projects.
Upon arrival, the commander-in-chief was received by Lieutenant General Nauman Mahmood; Leader Peshawar Corps.
