Four PAF officers were promoted to second in command of the air traffic controller

The government has promoted four Pakistani Air Force (PAF) officers to second and second positions to air traffic controllers on Friday, the PAF said.

The nominees include Deputy to Marshal Khalid Mehmood, Deputy to Marshal Asad Amir Pirzada, Deputy to Marshal Salman Abbas Shah and Deputy to Marshal Muhammad Irfan.

Air Vice-Marshal Khalid Mehmood was deployed to the GD (P) Pakistan Air Force Branch in May 1991. During his tenure, he commanded an army, a flying force, and a commercial aircraft. Receive the famous Sitara-i-Imtiaz (warrior).


Air Vice-Marshal Asad Amir Pirzada was transferred to the Engineering Branch of Pakistan Air Force in May 1991. During his tenure, he has served as Director Network Bases at Air Headquarters, Islamabad, and Commandant CAE PAF Academy, Asghar Khan. Alandila Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Asitikali).


Air Vice-Marshal Salman Abbas Shah was appointed to the Engineering Branch of Pakistan Air Force in May 1991. During his tenure, he commissioned an engineering team and became the Managing Director of the Mirage Rebuild Factory, Kamra. He also served as Chief Assistant of the Air Staff (Aircraft Engineering) at Military Headquarters, Islamabad. Alandila Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Asitikali).


Air Vice-Marshal Muhammad Irfan was appointed to the Engineering Branch of Pakistan Air Force in May 1991. During his tenure, he has served as Deputy Managing Director JF-17 project in Kamra.


He also served as Deputy Managing Director Avionics Production Factory, Kamra. Like the other three, they have also received the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Scythian).
