ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid Alliance (PML-Q), an affiliate of PTI, has entered a parliamentary party meeting, ARY News reported, citing sources.

Ahead of federal funding with Punjab, the PML-Q has suspended negotiations with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

According to sources, PML-Q leaders want the economic uncertainty to be addressed.

It is learned that PML-Q MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema had just asked for the Prime Minister to hold a special meeting with PML-Q to address the reservation.

Earlier in the day, a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan approved the 2021-22 Budget, with a 10% increase in the salaries and pensions of government employees.

The special meeting of the minister chaired by Imran Khan and the presence of federal ministers, advisers, special aides, and others approved the 2021 Bill and its amendments.
