On Tuesday (July 22) a taxi driver was seen driving with the light beam on through the Bartley Viaduct to the Central Expressway (CTE).
A Stomper said the taxi driver was acting like a “hooligan” and threw his middle finger at him.
“After I overtook the taxi, it started emitting all the way,” he said.
“I only have camera footage in the car and my partner managed to take a picture of the taxi with his handheld phone.
“Is it acceptable in Singapore?”
Drivers are advised to submerge the road beams when they encounter other drivers, especially when they are immediately behind another vehicle, as the beam can be reflected with the rear-view mirror dazzling the driver.
The Stomper added that he felt threatened and has since filed a police report.
